FWO Field Definitions

Primary Information

  • Name – Name of the FWO Record.
  • Owner – FWO owner.
  • Date Created – Date the FWO was created.
  • Last Modified By – Date/time the FWO was last edited and by whom.
  • Customer – Select the company or individual this work order pertains to. All companies or individuals that you have customer, lead, prospect, employee, or partner records for will appear here.
  • Status – Select the appropriate status for this field work order. You can create new statuses at Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types > FWO Status List.
  • Type/Category – Select the appropriate type for this case. You can create new case statuses at Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Lists > FWO Type List.
  • Title – Enter the title of this work order. You can enter up to 256 characters in this field.
  • Scope of Work – Enter a detailed scope of work in this field that describes the requirements for the work order.
  • Internal Notes – You can enter information in this field that you want to keep separate from the work order details. This note can only be seen by others in your company with access to this work order.

Field Information

  • Location Source – The record type that will be used as the target to obtain location address and contact information. For customer records, the default shipping address will be sourced. For project records, the Field Service Location custom fields will be sourced.
  • Location Address – The physical address where the scope of work will be performed. Sourced from the selected location type.
  • Location Phone – The phone number which should be used to contact the site where the scope of work is being performed. Sourced from the selected location type.
  • Point of Contact – Select the primary contact for this location. Sourced from the selected location type.
  • Start Date – The expected start date of the work order. Enter, accept or click the calendar to pick the date this case is being reported on.
  • Start Time – The expected start time of the work order. Only valid time of day entries are accepted.
  • End Date – The expected end date of the work order. Enter, accept or click the calendar to pick the date this case is being reported.
  • End Time – The expected end time of the work order. Only valid time of day entries are accepted.
  • Estimated Duration – The estimated duration to complete the work order, formatted to display as the number of days, hours, and minutes.
  • Assigned Worker – Select the company or individual that is assigned to complete the scope of work.
  • SLA Same as Start/End – Mark this box if the SLA response and resolution times should match the work order start and end times.
  • SLA Response Date – The date that determines if the SLA Response metric was met. Enter, accept or click the calendar to pick the date this case is being reported.
  • SLA Response Time – The time that determines if the SLA Response metric was met. Only valid time of day entries are accepted.
  • SLA Resolution Time – The date that determines if the SLA Resolution metric was met. Enter, accept or click the calendar to pick the date this case is being reported.
  • SLA Resolution Date – The time that determines if the SLA Resolution metric was met. Only valid time of day entries are accepted.
  • High Priority – Mark this box if the work order is considered to be high priority.
  • ETA Confirmed – Mark this box if the worker has confirmed their estimated time of arrival.
  • Enroute – Mark this box if the worker has confirmed they are enroute to the location.

Metrics

  • Initial Check in Date – The first check in date that was applied to the work order. Defaults to the earliest check in date from the time log sublist.
  • Initial Check In Time – The first check in time that was applied to the work order. Defaults to the earliest check in time from the time log sublist.
  • Last Check Out Date – The last check out date that was applied to the work order. Defaults to the latest check out date from the time log sublist.
  • Last Check Out Time – The last check out time that was applied to the work order. Defaults to the latest check out time from the time log sublist.
  • Number of Time Entries – The number of time entries associated with the field work order.
  • Onsite Duration – The total duration of time spent on the work order, summed from all the time logs from the sublist, and formatted to display as the number of days, hours, and minutes.
  • SLA Response Met? – This box should be marked if the SLA Response metric was met.
  • SLA Resolution Met? – This box should be marked if the SLA Resolution metric was met.

Sign-Off and Completion

  • Worker Notes – Notes from the assigned worker to describe the work completed.
  • Customer Notes – Additional notes from the point of contact onsite at the customer location.
  • Customer Printed Name – The printed name of the point of contact signing off on the work completed.
  • Add/Update Signature – Check box to open the Signature Field.
  • Customer Signature – Used to sign.
  • Revisit Needed – Mark this box if the work order requires a revisit to complete the scope of work.
  • Misdiagnosis – Mark this box if the scope of work on the order was not accurate of the work necessary to complete the order.
  • Out of Scope – Mark this box if additional out-of-scope work was necessary to complete the order.
  • Billable – Mark this box if the work order should be considered billable.

Related Records

  • Parent FWO Record – The original Field Work Order record where the scope of work was incomplete and required a revisit. This field is populated automatically when creating a revisit record from the parent, and it will list this record as a child record under the Related Records subtab.
  • Related Case – The case that this FWO was created from.
  • Related Transaction – The associated transaction record that the FWO was created from.
  • Related Invoice – The invoice that was created from the field work order.
  • Related Project – The project that this FWO was created from.
  • Related Project Task – The project task that this FWO was created from.

Custom Fields

  • Custom Field # – A custom free-form text field that can be relabeled and used to track non-standard information on the work order.
